About Ladies Circle Zambia

Ladies’ Circle Zambia (LCZ) is a vibrant, inclusive organisation that brings together women from all walks of life to form lasting friendships, share experiences, and make a meaningful difference in their communities. As an affiliate of Ladies’ Circle International (LCI), LCZ embodies the motto “Friendship and Service”, uniting women locally and globally through shared values and common goals.

Founded on principles of fellowship and service, LCZ provides a welcoming, non-political, and non-sectarian environment where women can grow personally, socially, and professionally. Members are encouraged to celebrate diversity, embrace new experiences, and build strong, supportive relationships that last a lifetime.

Our Global Connection

As part of Ladies’ Circle International, LCZ connects to a worldwide network of women across five regions and numerous national associations. This global presence allows members to share knowledge, cultural experiences, and service projects with women from around the world, fostering international friendship and understanding.

The international structure also ensures that each local Circle can benefit from guidance, collaboration, and best practices while maintaining the flexibility to focus on causes and activities that matter most to their community.

Meet the President of Ladies Circle Zambia (LCZ) 2025/2026

Her theme for the year: “Building Bridges, Changing Lives”
The Ladies Circle Zambia theme for the circle year 2025/26 is “Building Bridges, Changing Lives”. This theme encapsulates the idea of fostering connections and creating positive impact within Ladies Circle and beyond.

Building Bridges: This metaphor represents the act of connecting with others, breaking down barriers, and establishing or re-establishing real relationships. Bridges can be built across differences in culture, background, or perspective, promoting understanding and empathy. These bridges symbolize the connections we make with one another . Each one of us has the potential to be a bridge builder, to reach out and connect with those around us, and to create pathways for collaboration and support, enhancing the sense of sisterhood and community within Ladies Circle and within the five clubs family.

Changing Lives: This aspect emphasizes the transformative power of our actions and interactions. Each of us has the ability to influence and uplift those around us. Small gestures, such as lending support, offering encouragement, or simply listening, can lead to significant changes in someone’s life. This reflects the belief that everyone has the potential to make a difference, no matter how small that action may seem. The sum of the two ultimately leads to:

Mutual Growth: because As we build bridges and connect with others, we not only impact their lives but also enrich our own. These connections foster personal growth, broaden our perspectives, and deepen our understanding of each other and the world. Because engaging with diverse individuals can inspire us to be more compassionate and open-minded. And it is only when we feel wholesome as individuals, and ultimately wholesome as circles can we make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we choose to serve in our communities.

Legacy of Connection: Ultimately, “Building Bridges and Changing Lives” aims to inspire us to be mindful of the impact we have on others and to strive for a Association where everyone feels valued and included. Only then will we be able to leave a legacy of connection and compassion. “ I encourage each of you to reflect on the bridges you have built in your own circling journey. Think about the connections that have enriched your experiences, the friendships that have blossomed, and the lives you have touched. Let’s celebrate these moments and recognize the power we hold to influence and inspire. And use that power to enrich and support one another as we work hand in hand to change the lives of the underprivileged in society. Let us therefore begin the new year, united in our shared desire to see our association grow and thrive.

Thank you once again ladies for your faith and trust in me”.

Ladies Circle International

Ladies’ Circle International (LCI) is a global organisation led by the LCI Board, which oversees its international structure and strategic direction. The Board comprises experienced members from various countries who bring knowledge and expertise to guide the organisation worldwide.

To ensure effective regional management, LCI is divided into five regions, each led by a Regional Chair who coordinates activities with National Boards and supports the implementation of global initiatives. National associations manage local operations, including events, fundraising, and collaboration with other countries and the LCI Board.

At the grassroots level, individual Circles bring women together to support each other and their communities. Each Circle, led by a President, organises activities tailored to its members’ interests and local needs. This multi-level structure ensures seamless coordination from local to global levels, enabling members to work together toward a shared goal of friendship, service, and positive impact.
